Dear Friends, I am so thankful for God’s Word! Today I was a little discouraged from this past week but after singing and writing the chord chart to this song, “Whatever is Lovely” in the key of C on piano, I had new peace and assurance from God’s word! His truth renewed my mind and life! Too often I allow the enemy to plant stinking thinking in my mind, a lie that tells me I’m not good enough. Or I get busy in my own affairs before spending time with Him first in His word and prayer. I then miss the blessing from not spending time with Him and hearing His voice. Sometimes I feel insecure about life and what’s going on around me and I find myself depending more on myself than on Him. I need to remind myself to trust God and depend fully on Him instead of myself. Today it seems God wanted to remind me of the truth in this song and the importance to stay reading His word in our daily life! This song brought me so much joy and strength from Philippians 4 that I wanted to share this song with you. I especially love this bridge. Bridge “Don’t ever turn away from all He’s given you Keep your heart resting in His promises His Word will see you through.” This scripture means so much to me!
